Our jewellery

We are proud to offer only ethically-sourced, lab-grown diamonds on our website and in our stores.

A lab-grown diamond is a diamond that is produced artificially in a high-tech laboratory rather than being formed naturally within the earth over millions of years. They are created using two methods: High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) or Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) processes, which simulate the conditions under which diamonds form under the earth. These diamonds are increasingly popular due to their ethical and environmental advantages compared to mined diamonds, as well as their lower cost and higher quality.

Lab-grown diamonds are the same as natural diamonds in every sense. All their physical, chemical, optical, and atomic properties are identical to those of mined diamonds. The only difference is that lab-grown diamonds are produced in a laboratory rather than being formed naturally over millions of years under the earth.

No, cubic zirconia (CZ) and moissanite are not real diamonds. Cubic zirconia is a synthetic gemstone made from zirconium dioxide, while moissanite is a naturally occurring mineral or lab-created silicon carbide. Although they may resemble diamonds, they have different chemical compositions and properties and are not the same as lab-grown or natural diamonds.

As previously mentioned, there are two methods used for creating lab-grown diamonds: High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) and Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) processes.

  1. HPHT method: In this process, a diamond seed is exposed to high pressure and high temperature conditions similar to those found deep within the Earth’s mantle, where natural diamonds are formed. This environment allows carbon atoms to crystallise and grow around the seed, resulting in the creation of a synthetic diamond with properties similar to natural diamonds.
  2. CVD method: In this process, a diamond seed is placed in a chamber filled with a carbon-rich gas, such as methane. The gas is then activated by microwaves or other energy sources, causing the carbon atoms to break apart and deposit onto the diamond seed, gradually building up layers of diamond material. This method allows for the precise control of diamond growth and the production of high-quality synthetic diamonds for various industrial and gemological applications.

After the rough diamond is made using either of the methods, it is then planned, laser cut, polished & finished just like a mined natural diamond is. This turns it into a lovely, sparkling precious stone.

Yes. Our lab-grown diamonds are conflict-free and ethically sourced since they are made in controlled laboratories and do not require mining into the earth to find them. Furthermore, all labour laws are followed, and so our lab-grown diamonds are free from funding violence, corrupt governments, or other human rights abuses and cannot be classified as ‘blood diamonds’

We provide certification cards from some of the world’s most reputable independent certification companies, including IGI (International Gemological Institute) and SGL (Solitaire Gemmological Laboratories) for all jewellery pieces.

No, we do not sell loose lab-grown diamonds. However, we can stud the diamond of your choice into the perfect jewellery piece for you.

We ensure that the solitaire diamond in your jewellery piece matches the side stones through our expert matching process done by trained diamond professionals and gemologists.

Yes, all our jewellery is stamped. These stamps show the style code, the quality of the metal, and our logo, among other items. By following certain care tips, you can help ensure that your lab-grown diamond jewellery maintains its beauty and brilliance for years to come. Here’s how to care for your products:

  1. Professional Cleaning: Periodically, consider having your lab-grown diamond jewellery professionally cleaned and inspected by us. We can check for loose settings and provide deep cleaning to restore its brilliance.
  2. Avoid Impact: While all diamonds are durable, they can still chip or scratch if subjected to strong impacts. Be mindful of wearing your jewellery during activities where it might be exposed to rough handling or impacts.
  3. Routine Inspection: Regularly inspect your lab-grown diamond jewellery for any signs of damage or loose settings. If you notice any issues, have them addressed promptly by a professional jeweller to prevent further damage.

You can clean your lab-grown diamond jewellery the same way that you do most of your fine jewellery. Here’s how to clean your products:

  1. Regular Cleaning: Clean your lab-grown diamond jewellery regularly to maintain its sparkle. You can use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and warm water to gently scrub away dirt and oils. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft cloth.
  2. Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals, such as bleach, chlorine, or ammonia, as these can damage both the metal settings and the diamond. Remove your jewellery before swimming or using cleaning products.
  3. Storage: Store your lab-grown diamond jewellery separately from other jewellery pieces to prevent scratching. Consider storing them in soft pouches or jewellery boxes with individual compartments to prevent tangling and scratching.
